The electronics are actually not too bad in the factory system when the processing/eq is eliminated. The factory speakers are the weakest link by far so they have to go for sure. For the standard stereo (standard on XL-FX I think) you use only two inputs, not four as one might think. The MS-8 can take 8 inputs which is what one would need to integrate with the Sony system.
